Disfrutando en los alpes franceses

Durante cinco dias dos miembros del team Pallars riders, Adrià Ovando e Ian Salvat han estado remando por los alpes franceses. Han podido disfrutar de buenos paisajes i sobretodo de buenos rios. Aqui os dejo con algunas fotos, es un sitio muy recomenable para los kayakistas.

During five days two members of the team Pallars riders, Adrià Ovando e Ian Salvat were paddling in the french alps. They can enjoy a lot of good places and good rivers. Here I leave some photos, it's a place very advisable for kayakers.

EXTREM KAYAK PALLARS SOBIRÀ

Last weekend started the Pyrenees Cup of extreme kayak. The first trial was in the Upper Noguera (Pallars Sobirà), a river of class IV/V.
It was a cold weekend, so the ice melting stopped and this left us with less water, but it was also fun.
The first day we performed the Team and Slalom race, and we ended it with a meal and a dinner for all the participants.
The second day we had the sprint Race in Extasis canyon where we enjoyed with the preliminar and the final where 10 finalists entered.

Now we have to wait for the next weekend when will be held the second competition of the Pyrenees Cup, in the Ara River.

Kayaking the magical Rio Baker

Aquí tenéis el primer episodio de SBP y Epic TV; Kayak en el río Baker en Patagonia, Chile. El Baker es el río más caudaloso de Chile y ofrece algunos de los mejores rápidos que he remado en mi vida además de un paisaje de ensueño. HidroAysén pretende construir dos presas en el Baker, una en el mismo cañón del vídeo.

Esperemos que la lucha siga adelante y podamos disfrutar de este magnífico río por muchos años más! Viva Patagonia sin Represas, SIEMPRE!

First episode from SBP and Epic TV series; Kayaking down the Baker in Patagonia, Chile. The Baker is the largest river in Chile and offers some of the best whitewater I've ever paddled together with an amazing landscape. HidroAysén is willing to built two mega dams on this gem, on of them on the same canyon you can see on the video.

Hoping young generations will be able to see this place as it is and paddle this magical river for ever; NO DAMS! Viva Patagonia sin Represas, SIEMPRE!

I've been living in this village for a few years and even If this place doesn't have the best kayaking in the world, the combination of many good aspects makes it one of my favorite places to hang out in the spring.

Training in Millau!

Por semana santa se convocó una concentración de freestyle en Millau (Francia). Los convocados fueron Aran, Iker, Dani, Judith, Kira, Quim, Nuria ... y Albert Aixàs que nos acompañó!
Fue una buena semana ya que no paramos de remar, gracias al Jacko Jackson que era nuestro entrenador aprendimos tanto a movernos en el rulo cómo nuevas maniobras!
